I use solution focused therapy up front so the client feels encouraged and see progress on the surface level. Once coping is implemented on the surface level, I dig deeper to get to the root of the problem for long term change.

I have an eclectic approach because everyone is different - I use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, Talk Therapy, & Motivational Interviewing.
